Teach For Hong Kong’s program aims to bring systemic changes over the long run while in the short run directly impacting grassroots students through empowering our Fellows and partner schools.

Our community of future leaders are committed to lobby changes, transform systems, pioneer solutions, and influence cultures inside and outside of the classroom to bring education equity.

Student Impact

Students are the core of our changes

We value student growth both inside and outside of classrooms. Our Fellows increase students’ learning motivation and confidence. In addition, they organized a variety of Extra-Curricular Activities and Life and Career Education events to enrich students’ learning experience.

“Under Mr. Cheung’s teaching and supervision, I have learnt a lot in science, programming, and layout. He is very patient in teaching us programming language and guiding me to finish my small inventions.”

Kelvin | S.3 student | HHCKLA Buddhist Ching Kok Secondary School

“Ms Kan always makes her science class interesting! She never blames on me when I make mistakes, and she is willing to talk to me when I encounter difficulties.”

Lau Hiu Man | S.1 student | Lok Sin Tong Yu Kan Hing Secondary School

Student Impact Stories

148 Fellows have stepped into classrooms of grassroots schools. They bring their unique perspectives, experiences and a sense of possibility for their students. More than 20000 students have improved academically, broadened their horizons, realized their potential through our Fellow's teaching, extra-curricular activities and life and career education.

Our Sustainable Impact reaches beyond classrooms

Our one-year Fellowship program plants the seeds of education equity and social change. United by the goal to uplift underprivileged students, we strive to create sustainable systematic change by empowering Fellows to lead the movement.

Fellow’s Impact

We nurture future leaders across sectors to expand opportunities for grassroots students

Our Fellows have access to leadership development and career resources before, during, and after their Fellowships. We draw upon the diversity and talents among our Fellows and shape them into a more empathetic and outspoken changemaker.

From our Summer Institute to a community network of over 100 Alumni, we support our Fellows on their journey to pioneer creative solutions to education inequity.

Fellow Impact Stories

Our Fellows and Alumni learned skills from their classroom experiences, took their first-hand experience in the classroom and committed to lead collectively in business, social impact, policy and education fields to bring education equity.

School Impact

We democratize access to a quality education

Underprivileged students should receive the same opportunity to develop their academic, personal, and professional goals. The gap between resources often prevent them from realising their potential and developing their confidence. Our Fellows is part of an important force to create an equitable education in underprivileged schools.

“With their diverse and non-educational background, Fellows are connected with different sectors in the society, and provide opportunities for students to get in touch with the outside world. They have transferred their strengths to become the strengths of their students.”

School Impact Stories

Our Fellows and Alumni are equipped to become education leaders in schools, taking teaching and leadership positions to push for pedagogical changes, cultural shifts and innovate to bridge the academic, cultural and social capital gap for their students.

Ecosystem Impact

We challenge the status quo

We transform the current education system by collective lead in different sectors. We believe in a well-rounded education through a holistic approach. Our Fellows leverage their first-hand education experience and advocate for pedagogic reform, institution transformation, innovative solutions and new culture to bring education equity.

“Teach For Hong Kong is planting numerous seeds with a growing number of Fellows forming an expanding network”
