Summer Institute is an intensive 6-week training program to equip Fellows with skills and knowledge on Induction to TFHK Movement, Teaching as Leadership, Cross Sector Engagement, preparing them for the challenges ahead.
TFHK partners with The Quality School Improvement Project (QSIP) of CUHK for a one-week theory-based teaching training, to equip fellows with essential teaching skills before school placement.
During the school year, Fellows learn to effectively lead a classroom and develop the minds of the next generation.
Our team will continue to drive Fellows’ growth and development by providing different trainings, experience sharings, field trips etc., typically held monthly on evenings or weekends. The sessions are mostly run by Alumni and professional community partners who will become part of your network.
Throughout the Fellowship, Leadership Development Officer and School Mentor engage Fellows in regular self-reflection and development conversations.
They also conduct classroom observations to assess Fellows’ teaching practice. Following each observation, Fellows will self-evaluate with the observer to discuss their progress, achievements and challenges, developing targeted strategies to continuously improve their performance.
We are dedicated to supporting Fellows to launch high-impact career upon the completion of the Fellowship. Our Fellows have full access to TFHK’s prestigious and diverse advisory board, which include CEOs and business leaders from firms such as McKinsey and Goldman Sachs.
On top of that, our signature Employer Partnership Program connects fellows to corporate partners and helps our fellows secure employment in high-impact industries. We do so by implementing internal team screening that guarantees direct employment to graduate trainee programs or final interviews with your industry choice.
